DAT stands for Dan, Alexandra, Tămaș — the two geologists behind the practice, sharing one family name. It also reads as “dat” — data — fitting for a practice built on geological data and interpretation.
DAT Geoscience is an independent professional practice (sole trader / PFA) offering structural geology, field mapping, specialist studies and field training. We serve academic, industry and international clients, bringing together fieldwork, consultancy, field-based and on-site trainings/courses.
